Dr. Barrow received his BA in Biology from Columbia College in New York, and went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from Cornell University Medical College in New York.

St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center of New York was the site of Dr. Barrow’s General Surgery Internship and Residency.  His Otorhinolaryngology residency was completed at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York.

During this time his academic honors included:

- Alpha Omega Alpha (Cornell Medical School)

- John Metcalf Polk Award (Among the top three of Medical School graduating class)

Dr. Barrow has been in private practice since 1992.
